Love in the Time of Cholera in cinemas

Hey All,

You may have noticed that the film version of Love in the Time of
Cholera is in cinemas today.

I strongly urge you to read the book before seeing the movie. See
both, sure, but maybe hold off and read the book first.

Typically, when it comes to books/movies, we imprint on the first
version we see. If that happens to be the movie, the impressions we
make in the cinema can spill over into our read of the book. Better to
let the book impressions spill over into the cinema, no?

So, if you can't resist the urge, I understand. Either way, I look
forward to our discussion next month!

I saw that as well and thought for a minute if I was lazy enough to go
see it instead of reading but fear not I held strong. I believe the
film isn't good anyway and from reading the book I can see it being
hard to translate on to screen.
