2010 Duathlon

Formula 1 Duathlon - Phoenix Park.
The finale to the Runways series is the Formula 1 Duathlon next Wednesday the 4th of August.  It maybe difficult to match the strength in depth of this months record breaking race, but with the current Irish Champion, Eilis Connery back from injury, the 2009 series winner Mark Doyle and the June winner John Caffrey back to race the current Irish Champion Joe Lynch, it will be competitive.  Sign-on starts this Sunday at 1pm in Runways.  The current entry list can be downloaded by clicking here.  Entries are still available here.


HellFire Duathlon - Dublin Mountains
The training evening is tomorrow at 6:30pm.  It free any open to everyone.  Full details are at http://hellfire.wicklowadventurerace.com/index.php/training/
New for 2010, the HellFire has attracted interest from those outside the triathlon and duathlon community. The recent winner of the CLEC (Aaron O'Donohue) and the CLEC Tarmac (Niall Sommers) are both racing.  It will be interesting to see how the pure Adventure Racers go against Duathletes more used to flat fast courses.   The current entry list can be downloaded by clicking here.  Entries are still available here.

With both events we're up against the setting sun, so we have to start on time.  Because of this if you're late for sign-on, you'll miss the race.
