Hi Asif,

I think you misread the post, the comments about "Reliance will restart the project" where made back in June 2009.

I just posted a link that it is finally going to court and your need to register your investment with the Dubai Court.

What I am most interested in is the Land, because I was given a copy of a Nakheel Land Sales receipt by Reliance showing Nakheel had been paid in Full for the Reliance 17 plot. So that is an asset with a value and over recent years the market seems to have improved in JVC and JVT, so what is the land worth today and do we have a right to claim money from its sale should the land be sold now or in the future.

Best Regards

Nigel

Hello all.

I am Nigel's friend in the Uk and I have just had a conversation with him about the latest Reliance email.

We think it would be a good idea if all of us send a letter individually (but probably with the same content) to Marwan, explaining our concerns about Reliance's ability to build and also what their real intentions are and that we do not wish to continue with them and, consequently we would like RERA to cancel the projects and ensure we get a refund.

It seems very clear that Reliance will not be able to afford to build all 17 projects. If they do not have the money to refund I wonder if a consolidation could work, where let's say they reduce the number of projects and investors' money is put together to allow shared ownership of units and no further payments. It is still questionable whether Reliance have enough money to do any projects.

Any thoughts would be welcome, but I think we need a joint response to the latest email and the more of us together the better.

Regards,

Adam.

I do not understand why the court would not contact us directly and ask for our bank account details and then pay any money directly into our account, why after all these years should our loss cost a further 20% payable to Jaguar Real Estate
