Hi Nigel
With regards to any project that has been cancelled, by the land dept, it is referred to the court. If you have an Oqood ( interim title deed) You should be able to get updates on what’s going on with the court hearings
I had a similar situation with two properties in JVC. The project was cancelled and I basically gave up on it . After a few years I started receiving calls from. Law firms stating they would be able to assist in taking on my case. However they wanted upfront fees plus a percentage of the refunded investment. I didn’t bother and a few years later , I started getting text and email messages from the land dept to update them with proof of ownership and payments made. These were responded to by myself There after I started getting text messages in Arabic. ( Iused the translate option in text to work out what was being mentioned from the dubai courts on updates on hearings .I didn’t really respond further and then received info that judgement has been awarded in my favour however only roughly 15% of the unvested amount was awarded . The actual execution of the award comes later when I got a message to contact Al Adeed . This a service provider that process your application for disbursement of your funds A small processing fee is paid and you bank account details are required and Iwas asked for my Passport and UAE ID . Further few months later , I received my funds , that I really had given up on.
So if the law firm managed to contact , you it means you are in the system somewhere.
I think your first point of contact is the land department REST app If you manage to sign in maybe you can get further info
Good luck

wanting to make contact with Reliance investors. Also I have other
information on Nakheel JVC cancelled developments. Cheers Nigel
