Dear Students,

Prof. Dr. Julia Hauser (email: uk03...@uni-kassel.de) from the University of Kassel, Germany, is looking for a graduate student who reads Urdu and might be willing to do some research in Chandigarh against payment. Dr. Hauser would pay the train journey and accommodation as well as the search itself. It is a list of 26 titles, some in English, some in Urdu, on cow protection. Some of these titles might be in the Lal Chand Research Library in Chandigarh. Dr. Julia Hauser is currently working on the politics of vegetarianism in colonial India. It will be very helpful for her if some student can check these titles in advance to help her decide whether or not to make a trip to India herself.
