For those of you who still need to fulfill your internship requirement
at DTS, there is a great opportunity opening up at WisdomWorks.
WisdomWorks is the headquarters of the PlanetWisdom.com, the
PlanetWisdom tour, and Generation Hope. The president of WisdomWorks,
Mark Matlock, has a vision for youth that has taken his ministry to
the cutting edge.

This internship opportunity may be right for you if you are interested
in participating first-hand in the lives of teenagers through avenues
of communication that are currently not being used for discipleship.
Our interns will help develop new models of discipleship and mentoring
through the use of social networking (think MySpace and Facebook),
instant messaging and internet voice/video contacts. Mark Matlock has
already shown that he is committed to the future of technology and
discipleship by starting PlanetWisdom.com, which is the premier
website for Christian teens.

There are several benefits to taking this position. First, we ask for
10 hours a week and we mean it. You get to leave from WisdomWorks
with nothing hanging over your head (unlike many part-time youth
ministry jobs that work you 60 hours a week). We are willing to work
with your schedule Second, you will get to be involved with the
newest aspects of youth ministry. Third, you'll get to pick the brain
of one of the top guy's in youth ministry every month (and you can put
a nationally recognized name on your reference list). The down side
is that we do not have the resources to pay interns.

So, check out our website (www.planetwisdom.com), check out our
listing on the internship job board, and if you are interested, get
in contact with me. We will only be accepting the first 7 who meet our
criteria.

Thanks,
Josh Meares
