Hey there ... My friend, the president of Barna Research, is doing
this survey ... Feel free to forward to your friends too.
Mark
What do you think about churches and Christians?
Would you explain your thoughts in a short survey?
The survey is for people who have been offended or frustrated by
present-day Christianity - that is, with the way the Christian faith
is expressed these days in our society. The survey is not a bunch of
simplistic yes-no, agree-disagree questions, but a chance to explain
your story in an open-ended format. We really want to know your raw,
unfiltered thoughts and feelings about churches and Christians!
The purpose of the survey is to understand your experiences so that
Christians can better understand your frustrations. The survey is
being offered by David Kinnaman, a researcher and author who helps
Christian leaders be more in tune with people who have been offended,
bullied, or put off by churches.
If you participate, your responses will be treated with complete
anonymity. At the end of the survey, you will be asked if you are
willing to have your responses - without any personal information -
appear in a book from David Kinnaman. You are welcome to accept or
decline this. The book will describe the current perceptions of
present-day Christianity.
If you are interested, or if you know someone who might be interested
in sharing their thoughts:
1. Go to www.surveying-America.com
2. Click on "research participants."
3. Enter the study code (story) and password (123).
Thank you for considering this. To be of most value, please respond in
the next week or so. We look forward to hearing your opinions.
Sincerely,
David Kinnaman
