Hi All:

Thank you for all the replies to the questionnaire. The info is very
useful and I've modified the lab to fit many of your requests.

For the lab on Monday, I have set up machines on Amazon Web Services.
We will be accessing them using Secure Global Desktop. I want to make
sure that all your laptops work well with Secure Global Desktop. So I
have set up a test site for us. Can you please login to the test
machine and make sure you can see the desktop.

Steps to follow:

Goto URL: http://ec2-184-72-136-88.compute-1.amazonaws.com:8080/

- Click on Login
Username : demo
Password: demo

On the left pane you will see "My Desktop" Link. If no one else is
using the desktop then you can click on that link. If someone else is
using the desktop you will see a session link below it. Click on the
session link and the desktop will transfer to your system.

You should see a full GNOME desktop appear on your screen. Please make
sure this works. Please logout as soon as you have tried it. It would
be nice to get as many people to test it as possible,

Do email me the version of OS on your laptop and the browser you used
to connect. So we will have a list of tested configurations. I have
tried it on a few machines here as well.

Note: During the lab each one of you will have your own instance.

Thanks

Angelo
