I have to save my money for pax. Last time I went to phx comicon I was annoyed by the scores of kiddies dressed as naruto characters pretending they were using weaboo fighting magic.

Yeah, saving money for PAX is a good idea, but the $35 it'd cost to go to a con in our own town seems a bit inconsequential compared to the $400+ it takes to go to PAX.  Little weeaboos does sound like a turn off, but I imagine I'll be spending most of my time in the tabletop freeplay area; hopefully it's not too near where the kiddies will be.

I wasn't planning on going, mainly because I'm not much of a comic guy
despite having a farfetched desire to be an inker, but a friend of
mine talked me into going. On Saturday, at least. I don't know what
I'm going to do there, other than be awkward and spend far too much
money.

Yay!  If you want, you can spend some time with me at the tabletop gaming area.  I will not force you to play Battlestar Galactica again, if you don't want to.  Though you do sort of have to redeem yourself after your Cylon performance last time.  Just sayin'.

I'll see if I can get away from them, or maybe even recruit them to
play. I wouldn't mind playing BG again, aside from the length of
play, though I don't see what I have to redeem. Was it simply because
I was a Cylon, or because I didn't sell my performance very well? If
it's the former, I recall that thou dealt the cards. If it's the
latter, than you can GO FRAK YOURSELF (did I do that right?)
