Gary,

I was wondering if it's possible to pull out the 3 eigenvalues from the .vtk files output by tsa_sampling? I want to calculate the mode of anisotropy. I can currently pull out AD, RD, and FA, and I was planning on using a system of equations to figure out the 3 values. However, if they're already neatly exported somewhere else, life will be much easier :)

Thanks,

Gustavo

Hi,

I looked at the source code and I think this would be easy to add to MedialTensorField.cxx, but it's not currently possible. The output of AD, RD, FA, etc is hard coded, there's no option that I can see to get the individual eigenvalues.

Hi Gustavo,

Phil is right that at the moment the outputs are hard coded.  But it should be straightforward to modify the file MedialTensorField.cxx to output anything that can be derived from a tensor, including the eigenvalues, yourself.  I think this is going to be much easier than solving a system of equations :-).

Yep, much easier indeed! Got it working :)

Thanks,

Hello experts,

I was wondering if is it possible to use another maps for the TSA, not derived from a tensor (e.g. NODDI). Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Manuel
