mask pathology?

Dear Dr. Zhang,

What would be the best approach to mask out pathology prior to a tensor registration to an atlas? If I have DTI for patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, tumor, etc, is it possible to deweight the lesion (using a manual mask) so that the registration algorithm ignores the pathology when aligning to an atlas?

Hi Kyle,

Yes, this is possible although this feature is not currently made available through the command line tools directly.  Drop me an email directly and we can discuss.  It may require a bit of trials and errors.
