Good day

The log file has just recently started to report one of our internal machines trying
to access 224.0.0.2

SRC is internal IP
DST is 224.0.0.2
PROTO is 2 (What's that ?)
RULE is 0 (antispoofing)

Can anyone tell me what's happening here. Is it an attempted spoof or my internal
machine a little screwy?

Thanks

Hello,
224.0.0.2 is a multicast address. I believe that OSPF uses
224.0.0.2 to send out routing updates.
