Just write into radius's file users - "Framed-Protocol = PPP" - then you client get one B-channel=64K.
see below:
client Password = "UNIX"
User-Service = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = PPP,
Framed-Address = XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.255,
Ascend-Idle-Limit = 0,
Framed-MTU = 1500,
Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobsen-TCP-IP
If your client want get 2 B-channel=128K, then: "Framed-Protocol = MPP"
It's real work.

You can also do :
Ascend-Maximum-Channels = 1

Um, maybe I'm missing something, but our Radius profiles have
Framed-Protocol = PPP for our 128K customers and this doesn't cause a
problem. The Ascend docs indicate this only matters when the Max initiates
the call. What's the deal?

I have the same situation on our radius server. The overwhelming response
I got was to put in Ascend-Maximum-Channels = 1.
I put this in. The Framed-Protocol = PPP was already in place (and the
user was connecting at 128K) so I just left it alone.

This is the way I have it set up for 64k ISDN.
However, as I was poking around, I found another similar RADIUS attribute
"Max multi-link ports".
Has anyone used this attribute before? Does it work on Ascend equipment?
Why would this seemingly similar functionallity be duplicated by
Ascend-Maximum-Channels?

This should make the effect you are seeking.

If the auth attempt fails, try removing the "port-limit" attribute
and try again....
