Position : State Coordinator

PROJECT: Capacitation of Dalit, Adivasi and Women CSOs for Sustainable Development

Field Area: Beed and Latur. 

Responsibility:

The responsibilities and activities involved are:

1. Conduct hands-on training programmes, workshops and consultations with target CSOs, students and Dalit-Adivasi elected representatives, government officials, youths for understanding the various guidelines, policies, budgetary and planning processes

2. Monitoring of budgetary allocations and advocacy for policy intervention

3. Advocacy campaigns at state and national levels

4.Enable target CSOs in the promotion of advocacy campaigns at state and national level on good governance, accountability and inclusion of excluded groups in Panchayat Raj Institutions

5. Conduct a study on caste-based discrimination faced by Dalit and Adivasi elected representatives in governance and finance of PRIs for advocacy.

6. State and National level tribunals on discrimination and violence faced by Dalit-Adivasi women and children.

7. Perspective on SCSP, TSP & inclusion of excluded in the general budget; State-district budget, planning and implementation of some Flag ship programs

8. To monitor few key schemes like PMS for scholarship and advocate for its improvement, similarly in the area of livelihood, entrepreneurship and horticulture.
