Visualization Frustration :)

Hey all – I’ve been trying to use the visualization tooling based on AutoMetrics but have been running into issues with charts/graphs/tables. I’m on DT 3.6.0-rts3.8.0 with Apex 3.5 and Malhar 3.7.
My two main challenges at present:
1) Data will sometimes populate and sometimes not when creating dashboards . This seems partially related to whether the DAG has some delay (e.g. slow operators) but not conclusively. Even if I wait, data does not populate.
2)
When selecting aggregates, for some reason the first aggregate in the list is always selected and there’s no way to deselect that “Avg” or the check box next to the baseMapSize

Hey Ilya-
As soon as we have a stable build of RTS 3.9 with the new app-metrics functionality, I will ping you to see if you would like to try the new approach. As we discussed last week, we are iterating on a new and better replacement to ADT. You should be able to make progress with a newer version of ADT as Amol suggests, but longer term you would better off using our new approach.
I will follow up with Amol to determine what is needed for you to use a newer version of ADT.
