Likely the problem is with the application package. Can you open Zendesk ticket and attach gateway log. In parallel, can you execute get-app-package-info <path to .apa> and send the output.

Vlad – where is get-app-package-info and what’s the best way to retrieve the gateway logs given that this error shows up before even launching an app?

Hi Ilya,

"get-app-package-info" is the "apex" client command. The location of the gateway logs depends on how you run the gateway. Most likely the gateway logs are in /var/log/datatorrent if you run gateway as a service.
