Announcing the discontinuation of Public Data Explorer

Public Data Explorer, first launched in March 2010, was Google's first visual exploration tool for public statistics. Its functionality has not evolved in recent years, and the technology stack it was built on is now obsolete. The Public Data Explorer service will be discontinued on January 10th, 2025. Users will be redirected to datacommons.org, an open initiative to organize and visualize open data.
