Hi Google,

DSPL seems to be a nice format.

From the FAQ:

What can I do with a DSPL dataset?

You can import it into the Public Data Explorer, publish it, and allow others to explore the data via rich, interactive visualizations. Published datasets can also be included in the Public Data Directory so that interested users can find them.

Currently, this is the only application using DSPL. However, we encourage people to use it for other applications, and we expect that adoption will grow over time.

Is there any way, and if so what is the best practice, to upload data as DSPL zip on my own website, store the dataset on my own server and visualize the data on the website as feature-rich as the Public Data Explorer,? Is this possible by the GoogleCharts API?

The datasets should not be shared publicly or on a google server.

Thanks and best regards,
Stephan Sinn
