Hi everyone,

I have multiple items with the same author authority key, but they show different confidence levels.

For example:

Item A → dc.contributor.author = Author_x (authority = a89040b7-54b9-4ddf-95ea-1d12a0a4cdd7, confidence = 500)
Item B → dc.contributor.author = Author_x (authority = a89040b7-54b9-4ddf-95ea-1d12a0a4cdd7, confidence = 0)

I tried using the lookup in the metadata editor to select the author record that already has the linked record, but nothing changes — the confidence level remains the same (0).

This difference in confidence levels seems to cause an issue where the item with a zero confidence level is not properly linked to the authority record, even though it has the same authority key.

Has anyone experienced this issue? How can I make the confidence level update when reselecting the correct author through lookup?
