Solr Authority and Browse by Authors

Dear Dspace Support Team,

we are using Dspace 7.6, ORCID Authority is enabled, following your guideline in https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/ORCID+Authority.

"Browse by Author" (/browse/author) only shows those Authority entries with Authority Key. Authority entries without keys are not shown.

I have run the [dspace]/bin/dspace index-authority script, one use case should be: "The metadata without an authority key will each be updated with an auto generated authority key."

This is not the case, my question: is this a bug of the script, or are additional steps are required?
