Error deleting communities and/or collections

Hi.

I am trying to delete some communities and collections from the Dspace installation and cannot.

From the installed Dspace website, every time I want to delete some (it does not happen in all) communities or collections, I receive this error message.

ERROR: update or delete on table "item" violates foreign key constraint "requestitem_item_id_fkey" on table "requestitem" Detail: Key (uuid) = (97ec6834-939a-4d3b-aa4d-03c0ef6631aa) is still referenced from table "requestitem".

Do I have to directly edit the tables in the Dspace database to delete what I want?

Has anyone had this problem and managed to solve it?

I am using Dspace 6 via JSPUI

Same problem with xmlui 6.3, any recomendations?

A quick fix is deleting the content from the table requestitem, but it just lets you delete the community or collection, its not a definite solution, if theres going to be a future request for a bitstream the table will be filled in again and the same problem will happen if you try to delete the community or collection associated.
