SMTP configuration issue

Hello Everyone,

I have started using DSpace recently.I am facing problem with SMTP configuration. when I am uploading any files to DSpace it is not sending mail and showing this error " Unable to send email". Kindly help.

That message, alone, is not very revealing, is it? Please examine the
DSpace log files around the time of the email failure and see if there
is more information there. It is better to show too much, than too
little.

You can more easily test the sending of email by using 'bin/dspace
test-email'.
