After a lot of trial and error, I managed to be able to view the frontend of my installation. However, when I attempted to login, I could not. Based on the information found on wiki, I added the trusted ips line in my local.cfg file and restarted Tomcat. I still cannot login and I am reverted to seeing a 502 proxy error which says this on the page:

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request

Reason: Error reading from remote server

There is a 503 status in the network tab of the web developer tools. Once this happens, I cannot reload the home page or any other page for that matter. The resources dont seem to be taxed so I am not sure what the issue is. The logs (dspace or tomcat) also dont indicate what could be wrong. I've attached the output from the developer tools screen hoping that I can be pointed in the right direction on what to do next. Please let me know what else I need to include if the details I have provided are not enough.

Thanks,
Marcia

Hello Team

I am looking for someone to migrate a Dspace 5.X repository to DSpace 7.6 version and one year of technical support.

Please send me a proposal that includes the time estimate, cost for the migration service, cost for one year of technical support, and your experience migrating repositories.

Please contact me for more details jhenr...@syscloud.net and j.luish...@gmail.com

I discovered that the /server/api/core uri and the url are conflicting - one has http and the other has https. If I edit and resend the request, the status changes to 200 which suggests that somewhere http is being called but I cant figure out where. Any suggestions?

I have been fortunate to figure out the issue. Our IT did not activate mod_headers nor did they add the RequestHeaders in the .conf file. After I added those details, I was able to log in and everything appears to be working.
