Dear DSpace Community,

The DSpace Committers are delighted to announce a new member to the team: Francesco Molinaro from 4Science. Please join us in welcoming him!

Francesco is a Software Engineer at 4Science with experience in web application development and analysis, specializing in frontend development with the Angular framework.

Over the past two years, he has been an active contributor to the DSpace community, where he has focused on enhancing the user interface and usability while addressing bugs and collaborating on the DSpace-CRIS merger initiative.

We are always on the lookout for new developers, contributors, and committers within the DSpace community.
Contributions can take many forms: writing code, reviewing or testing others' code, helping on mailing lists, editing documentation, or improving the theme/usability/accessibility of our user interface. For more information, see our guide about contributing to DSpace.

If you or someone you know has been an active DSpace contributor for some time, you can also nominate that person to become our next committer! Nomination details and more information on committer responsibilities are available at:   https://wiki.lyrasis.org/spaces/DSPACE/pages/27001917/Committer+Nominations   If you have any questions about committership or contributing to DSpace, please reach out to one of the current DSpace Committers or join our weekly developer meetings.

Thanks,

Tim Donohue, on behalf of the DSpace Committers Group
