collection blocked

Hi all ,
We are in the process of migrating to version 7.6 of Dspace and there is a problem that has arisen. There is a collection (dc.type doctoral thesiss) that has been blocked for both, users and administrators of the repository. Neither they can complete the deposit, nor can we claim task in the workflow tasks. It continually gives errors. I do not know if the error may have occurred from a process that involved the University's CRIS.

Hi Albert,

It's difficult to help without more information.  

It could be that the collection deposit is throwing an error.  If so, you should follow the troubleshooting guide to locate the exact error: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error#Troubleshootanerror-DSpace7.x(orabove)  Without the exact error it's difficult to help.  We'd also need to know which page throws an error.

Or, it could be that someone changed the permissions on the Collection itself...which would remove permissions on the Collection except for administrators.  If that's the problem, then someone should modify the permissions (as needed) using the "Edit Collection" -> "Authorizations" tab.
