I've been working on migrating from DSpace 6 using Oracle to DSpace 7 using Postgres and believe I have been able to transfer the data properly. However, when I go to "Browse by Author" some of the records show a UUID, dspace_object_id, resource_id, or authority when I should be seeing the Authors name. Example:
Name  ( record_count ) -- the below are links
==================
Curts, Bob (1)
Cutters, Phill  (1)
Cutlers, Tom.(1)
Franks, Martin T.(12)
Damato, C. (14)

The our Dspace 6.x is working properly. Can someone point me to where I can resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance!

I have seen this before. What exact version of DSpace 7.x are you using?

I would suggest trying to rebuild the Solr search core first with “dspace index-discovery -b”.

With versions of DSpace 7.x before 7.5, I was seeing authority keys instead of author names for items that were withdrawn. When in as Administrator, I was also seeing authors as authority keys for non-discoverable items as well.

It may have been due to this issue that was fixed in 7.4: https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/issues/8479

I have not seen the issue with 7.5 yet.

Running  index-discovery -b resolved the issue. Thank you for the suggestion.
