It looks like there is now a higher version requirement for Maven?
Docs say 3.3.x+ (as of today):
There is mention of using 3.8.x and 3.6.x though.
A “mvn package” (using Maven 3.3.9) on 7.6.1 server recently produced this error:
“Failed to execute goal org.codehaus.mojo:buildnumber-maven-plugin:3.2.0:create (default) on project dspace-api: The plugin org.codehaus.mojo:buildnumber-maven-plugin:3.2.0 requires Maven version 3.5.4”

Hi Hrafn,
I agree that it is best to just upgrade the documented requirements.
