Batch edit entity relations (DSpace 7)

Dear all,

say I have "Publications" and "Persons" where they are linked with
relation.isAuthorOfPublication (in Publications) and
relation.hasPublication (in Persons). Now if I want to link a Person A
to several Publications P1, ..., P20 is there way I can do this via
batch editing? I tried to add the IDs in the relation fields (in the
metadata CSV exports of the two collections) but they won't update.

I noticed the relation.* metadata is flagged "virtual" in the exported
CSV files. Is there a way to export and batch edit the "real" relation
metadata such that the virtual components in my Publications and Persons
collections get updated accordingly?

Thanks for any directions on that.
