Status Code 401

Hi all,

I am not able to log in to the front end using my email and password. I've got the above status code i.e. 401.

Here is the URL to my dspace: https://dspace.iresource.gov.sb/home

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

A 401 from "/server/api/authn/login" generally means you entered an invalid username or password... or maybe there was some other underlying error that caused the login to fail.

I'd recommend following our troubleshooting guide to see if there's an underlying error blocking your ability to login: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error#Troubleshootanerror-DSpace7.x(orabove)  It's possible there's a misconfiguration or similar which is causing things to fail.  If so, the underlying error might be one of our common install issues listed at: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Installing+DSpace#InstallingDSpace-CommonInstallationIssues
