Public Statistics

I would like my usage statistics to be public, but I'm prompted to log in after clicking the statistics link. Am I missing something?

My usage-statistics.authorization.admin.usage = false as indicated by the manual.

That is the correct configuration, so I'm not sure at first what might be causing the access restriction.  However, I see this issue has been caused in the past by missing anonymous read permissions on the site object; see these past threads:

If those workarounds don't resolve the issue, you could look further into your logs to check for any additional errors or clues when you access the Statistics page (see Troubleshooting guide).
