dspace-angular theming guide?

Greetings all,

I realise Dspace7 is pretty hot off the presses, but I wanted to get started on customisation tasks for our institution.  I have successfully installed both the backend and angular ui front-end, but I cannot find any detailed documentation on how to go about developing a custom theme.  I am groping about the src folder and have found some things in intuitive fashion, but I suspect I am missing some steps or doing things incorrectly.

Does anyone have a guide on theming the Angular ui for Dspace 7?  Perhaps this is still being written?  The installation and configuration guides seem to stop short of telling us the best way to go about developing a custom theme.
