Install new DSpace v6.3 with DSpace 3.1 Database

I have a DSpace v3.1 in AIX and now I would like to install a new DSpace v6.3 in Linux with existing data in DSpace v3.1 oracle database.
Would you please advise how should I do?
Should I follow the steps in https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC6x/Installing+DSpace?
And when should I perform step 11 in https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC6x/Upgrading+DSpace
