OAI crosswalk and dc.description.abstract language = xxx

Dear list,

i am trying to get a xmetadissplus crosswalk for dspace-oai

I want to access the field:  " dc.description.abstract " . " language=XXX "

doc:metadata/doc:element[@name='dc']/doc:element[@name='description']/doc:element[@name='abstract']

How can i find the property "language" of the element and use it in the xsl-crosswalk ?


It should be a result similar to this

<xsl:for-each select="doc:metadata/doc:element[@name='dc']/doc:element[@name='description']">

      <dcterms:abstract xsi:type="ddb:contentISO639-2" lang="<!  THE VALUE IN THE LANGUAGE !>">
         <xsl:value-of select="doc:element[@name='abstract']/doc:element/doc:field[@name='value']"/>
      </dcterms:abstract>

</xsl:for-each>

<dcterms:abstract xsi:type="ddb:contentISO639-2">

<xsl:attribute name="lang">
<xsl:value-of select="../@name" />
</xsl:attribute>
<xsl:value-of select="." />
</dcterms:abstract>
</xsl:for-each>
but note DSpace uses 2 letter lang code whereas you need to transform it
to three letter bibliographic code.

Hello SNemi,

sorry for the late answer, but I was waiting for the results of the retro harvesting of the DNB.
We are delivering all material which must be delivered based on http://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/pflav/index.html.
We got a crosswalk for xMetaDissPlus but it is very proprietary as we are not a pure open access repository. I'll try to strip it down to default dspace with comments where one got to do something. The default metadata of dspace will not fulfill all the requests of the DNB.
