dspace 7.2 installation error - http 404

uring the installation of dspace

 im getting the error while accessing the backend on the webbrowser

http://mydomain:8080/server

throws error

but

 solr is working

http://mydomain:8983/solr

plz suggest a fix

In order for anyone to be able to help you, you will need to locate the underlying error messages in either your Browser's DevTools (if it's a frontend error) or in the dspace.log file (if it's a backend error). Once you locate the issue, it's possible it might be one of the common installation issues listed at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Installing+DSpace#InstallingDSpace-CommonInstallationIssues  If it's not in that list, then feel free to send an updated email to this mailing list, making sure to provide the full error message(s).
