Hello,

Information on changing the language can be found in the documentation here:

https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC5x/Localization+L10n

DSpace provides some interface translations, but at this time they must
be downloaded & installed separately. Depending on which DSpace user
interface you are using, the available language packs are at:

XMLUI : https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-xmlui-lang
JSPUI : https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-api-lang

There seem to be Greek (EL) translations available for both UIs.

XMLUI in Greek:
https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-xmlui-lang/blob/master/src/main/webapp/i18n/messages_el.xml

JSPUI in Greek:
https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-api-lang/blob/master/src/main/resources/Messages_el.properties

The instructions for installing these language packs is available in the
documentation link at the top of this email.

Actually running mvn package during the normal course of the installation/upgrade process will fetch the latest translations from those langpack repos. Not sure if this is the case for our "binary" package, but it is so when building from dspace-src or from git.

All that's needed is to set webui.supported.locales per documentation.

 Hai,

Make this changes in the dspace.cfg for sure you will get the language change option on the UI at the top right.

In dspace.cfg set:
webui.supported.locales = en, ar

And then restart tomcat. This feature is available since DSpace 4.  It will give you the ability to change the selected language.
You might need to clear XMLUI's cache after making this change. Login -> Control Panel -> Java Information -> Clear Cache

This is this feature:
