Hi,

is it possible to have a submission via sword that doesn't directly
start the submission workflow process, but remains editable by the
submitter, e.g. to add metadata or files, and to start the workflow
manually afterwards?

Thanks
Christian

Hi Christian,

as far as I know, this is not possible. However, you can still reject the submission and if you do that, it will go back directly into the submitter's account, where they can edit it with the normal submission form. I know, that this is probably not the same, but maybe you can build a kind of workaround with it...

Best
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

I was afraid of that particular answer. :)

Since the submitter then receives the 'Submission rejected' email, I was
hoping to provide a workflow that is less confusing for the user. But I
guess that's the way it'll work for us.

Thanks
Christian
