Hi,

I'm running DSpace version 6.3 Mirage2 theme. I would like to ask if it is possible to format using HTML tags the text or message in the system-wide alerts found in the control panel? In item-view.xsl, this can be done by just using disable-output escaping. I am particularly interested in applying line breaks (e.g., <br/> and <p>) and adding links (<a href>).

Thanks in advance!

Dear All,

I would like to ask if anybody from this list has implemented Systemwide alerts with HTML tags in XMLUI (Mirage2 theme)? Unfortunately, I received no response from my previous post about this. Basically, what I want is to have a clickable link in the alert. I'm not sure if https://openknowledge.worldbank.org and http://apps.who.int/iris/ used the systemwide alert for this purpose but please see screenshots below for example. What I'm really interested in here is the href tag that lists all publications related to Covid. I would like to implement that in our repository too. I'm thinking if this can be done by just using the systemwide alert feature in XMLUI.
