unicode encoding of messages.properties

I am trying to add some Hindi fonts in messages.properties. but it appeared in weird way in jspui. when i converted messages.properties in unicode encoding file from utf-8 file jspui did not read the file. Please suggest me how can I make hindi fonts visible from messages.properties file
