For the installed version 7.4, we activated the IIIF option, everything seems correct, Mirador displays image files well, but it is not able to display PDF files. The Cantaloupe server does not give errors and is able to create json and jpg files. When we analyze the Manifest we see that the "canvases" parameter is empty for PDF. It is not clear if we need to configure something special for PDF files accessed through IIIF.

Hi,
I believe the DSpace IIIF integration only currently works for images (i.e. file formats / MIME Types which begin with "image/"). Based on what I've been able to find, it was never tested with PDFs in mind.
So, I think what you are seeing is that DSpace doesn't yet support viewing PDFs via IIIF. I'd recommend logging an issue ticket for this as a new feature request to https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-angular/issues
