I need a little help from anybody who has successfully set up matomo in DSpace 9.1

The REST integration seems to work fine -- I am logging bitstream downloads.  However, on the angular side, I am not logging page visits, searches, etc.  It would seem that my matomo site is accessible and my config variables are valid since the backend is able to log downloads.  I have the same info in my angular config.yaml:

matomo:
  enabled: true
  siteId: 49
  trackerUrl: 'https://xxx.yyy.zzz.edu/matomo'

Yet nothing gets logged.  The documentation for configuring the angular client is rather sparse.  Am I missing anything?  I have also tried appending '/matomo.php' to the trackerUrl since that was required for the REST server setup in matomo.cfg

In matomo, when testing the setup, I receive an error:
Tracking code verification failed. Please verify that you have installed the code correctly.

Thanks for any advice!

Hi Bill,

In case you haven't seen it, there's a webinar on Matomo + DSpace next week.  See this announcement: https://groups.google.com/g/dspace-tech/c/mm2bvkF7Wz8

That might be a good opportunity to ask some questions or get feedback if you don't get it on this list.  I believe they will be walking through how the integration works, etc.

You also might want to look for any errors that may be occurring in communication between the frontend & backend or between DSpace and Matomo.  I *believe* those should be visible either in your browser or in the backend logs, so the Troubleshooting guide might be helpful: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error
