Dspace 8 - text_lang not showing in full item view

Hello everybody.

Our dspace's local.cfg file is configured with default.languafe = 'pt_BR'

default.language = pt_BR

However, the language of the items is not being filled in, as shown in the figure below.



What could be happening? Is it a bug, or do I need to perform another configuration?

Hi Aroldo,

The simple answer appears to be that the "default.language" configuration looks to no longer be used by the DSpace submission process.  So, this sounds like a possible bug where this configuration is no longer used in the DSpace submission form.  If I recall correctly, this *may have* been used in DSpace 6 in the way you expect.  So, you may want to log a bug ticket to describe your expected behavior, and hopefully we can find a volunteer to implement it.  https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/issues
