Kia ora,
In DSpace 5.x we can edit the config file to specify certain metadata fields that can only be viewed by an Administrator, eg
metadata.hide.dc.description.provenance = true
We’ve belatedly realised that this means literally in the Administrator group – ie if someone’s instead in a group with community/collection admin rights, they still can’t see this metadata.
Is there any chance (wishful thinking…) that there’s a way in DSpace 7.x to specify metadata fields that can be seen by collection administrators while remaining hidden to the public?

Hi Tim,
That’s a shame, but understandable! Many thanks for the confirmation.
