Hello,

Just in general, if you do have Media Viewer enabled, how has it been working for you so far on a production server?  It's easy to enable, and we have it running on a QA server so far.  Before we enable it on our production server though, we just wanted to ask the community whether any of you have had any issues with it.  For example, does turning it on in production make your server want to give up on life, or have there been minimal effects on load?

it is sufficient as long as you have no restrictions on the bitstreams.

If you have restrictions, it does not show the thumbnail, but still
allows an allowed user to "click" the empty space where the thumbnail
would be - you see the darkened area of the viewer and a frozen loading
indicator.
This also happens when having a list of bitstreams with a restricted one
somewhere in the list - it dies at that position.
