Upgrade from 8.0 to 8.2

Hi!

I need to upgrade from DSpace 8.0 to version 8.2. When I install the front-end, will I lose the customizations I made to some HTML (header, footer) and CSS, and I've also changed and added some photos. These are basically minor changes, but there are many.

What would be the easiest way to upgrade without losing all the customization work (or having to do it again) in the new version 8.2?

very likely something changed. To have an easier overview, you can
compare two directories visually (newly checked out dspace-angular, a
copy / new branch of your changes on dspace-angular) via "meld":

You can even change the code with it…
