Build process does not install DSpace Directories

After successfully building DSpace 6.4 in Ubuntu 18.04 with maven and ant DSpace does not install directories like assetstore , bin and etc. what could be the problem.

Hi,

What is the error message you received after running Maven and/or Ant?  The "ant fresh_install" command should create these directories for you, but it's possible that it errored out if it doesn't have permissions to create the directories.

Basically, we'd need more information about which step of the installation process threw an error & what that error was. 

Also make sure to double check that you are following the official installation documentation, which is available at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC6x/Installing+DSpace

If you are having trouble finding the error message, it's possible that it's in the DSpace or Tomcat log files.  See our Troubleshooting guide for tips on finding errors in logs: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error

Once you locate the error message, if you cannot figure out the solution, feel free to send it to this mailing list and someone here can try to help.
