Dsapce6 : Request for Open Access issue

Hi,

we are using the default workflow of Request a copy of a document on DSpace 6.3. And we noticed that if once the submitter receives the request
and responds with send a  copy and asks for changing the rights of the item to be open access, the system sends the email of open access request back to the submitter. Whereas it should be sent to the administrator as documented in the manual.

Could you please advise why it sends the request of open access to the submitter instead of the administrator

Hi,

Unfortunately DSpace 6 is no longer under support.  It's possible you've found a bug, but that won't be fixed in v6.

This feature has been enhanced in DSpace 7 with additional configurations / control over how you want these requests to be processed.  So, you may want to consider upgrading to DSpace 7 at some point in the future.
