I’ve developed MetaWeave, a free and easy-to-use desktop tool aimed at helping librarians and archivists with metadata preparation and bulk imports.

MetaWeave works as a practical assistant for:

• Smart auto-mapping to Dublin Core
• Support for custom fields
• Inline editing and review
• Export ready-to-use batch metadata CSV

✅ Advanced SAF (Simple Archive Format) Assistant

• Upload metadata spreadsheet + multiple documents (attachments)
• Intelligent fuzzy matching between file content and records
• Automatic creation of proper SAF item folders
• Option to manually match unmatched files
• One-click download of ZIP package ready for DSpace bulk import

The tool is completely offline, requires no coding or command line, and comes as a ready-to-run standalone application.
