Hi All,

When I export lists of items as an administrator  the csv  always maxes out at 5000 rows. The file itself can be tiny e.g 500 Kb.

Presumably there is some config somewhere where I can control this but what is a prudent ceiling?

Thanks,

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

I was not aware there is a limit to the number of rows in a CSV export.  I'm not seeing anything obvious in our code which sets a limit of 5000 (and there's no configuration that I can see which implies that CSV export is limited to 5,000 rows).   My best guess is that something else must be causing the limit here, as it doesn't appear to be DSpace itself (unless I'm overlooking where this is happening in our code).

What version of DSpace are you using?  Have you checked the backend logs to ensure no errors are occurring after 5,000 rows?

I'm not sure what else to recommend at this time, as I'm not finding any details as to why this could be occurring.  It doesn't appear to be a purposeful limit.

Tim
