[dspace-community] Request a copy will not attach a file of large pdf

Hello Everyone

 

Hope all are doing fine.

 

I was trying to use request a copy method for some items. My item (pdf) size is big, may be about 60MB and it fails while sending the request copy (may be due to the attachment size).

Is there any other method to send the item not as an attachment but as a link to browse the document?

 

Also, is there any method to protect few rare books by disabling downloading or by disabling right click option in the UI?

 

Any help or suggestions would of great help.

Please ignore my second question, I understand that Dspace cannot control PDF as of now. But eagerly waiting for this feature.
