Hello. How to add code to Google tag manager in Dspace 7?

I'm assuming maybe you are asking about Google Analytics?

Currently, DSpace 7 (as of 7.3) just supports Google Analytics v3 (also known as Universal Analytics ID, which looks like UA-xxxxxx-x). If you'd like to configure the Universal Analytics ID, it can be specified in your backend's "local.cfg" in the "google.analytics.key" property. See the documentation at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/DSpace+Google+Analytics+Statistics#DSpaceGoogleAnalyticsStatistics-GoogleAnalyticsRecording

If you are looking for Google Analytics v4 support (which has keys that look like "G-xxxxx"), that will be coming soon. It's currently in process and we hope to have it completed for the upcoming DSpace 7.4 release (due in October). See this ticket for details: https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/issues/8413

Hi,

DSpace 7 doesn't currently support Google Tag Manager out of the box. You likely could customize the code of the UI to insert the necessary code snippets in your DSpace 7 site. But, DSpace doesn't have any way to do this for you yet.
